Choose a question with two clear sides and state the side you will argue. Invite an opponent or leave the other side open for another user. Or create a poll with up to four options.

Your starting status on Hoozright. You can argue debates, vote and comment after voting.
Judge
The 10 highest-ranked members hold Judge status. The list updates every 24 hours. If you leave the top 10, you return to Jury.
You get a profile badge and a Judge label on the leaderboard. Every vote counts equally. Judges do not decide winners.

Create your side, then share the invite link with the person you want to debate. The debate goes live after they accept and add their side. Win a debate you started to earn 100 points. Win as the opponent to earn 70.
Open challenge
Write your argument and leave the other side open for another Hoozright user to take. If nobody takes it, the challenge expires. Win a debate you started to earn 100 points. Win as the opponent to earn 70.
